Police investigating brazen theft of five Guide Dogs Victoria vans on Christmas night

The vans are used to transport puppies in training and provide services to those in need.

Guide Dogs Victoria said that Victorians waiting for their Guide Dog may now have to wait following the disruption the thefts have caused.

“We thank our generous donors who continue to support our vital work and condemn whoever is behind this despicable theft,” a Guide Dogs Victoria spokesperson said.

The stolen vans are branded with Guide Dogs logos and imagery, and anyone who many have seen the vehicles is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

More to come.
